Enterprise Services Planning (ESP) is a management system for professional services work, including technology business, that encourages improved delivery and better customer satisfaction.

  • Modules 1 & 2 (executives)
  • Modules 2 & 3 (product managers)
  • Modules 2, 3 & 4 (product managers interested in lean data analytics, functional managers and directors)
  • Modules 4 & 5 (project and line managers)


When and Where Is the Next ESP Training?

This training class is certified by Lean Kanban University as ESP level training. Participants receive standard LKU certificates of class completion.


  • Modules 1 & 2: previous Kanban experience or KMP I class attendance is recommended but not required
  • Module 3: previous Kanban experience or KMP I class attendance is strongly recommended but not required; Module 2 is strongly recommended but not required
  • Module 4: KMP II class completion or knowledge of the full Kanban method is required; experience with process metrics, particularly lead time, and a certain comfort level with math and statistics are required
  • Module 5: KMP II class completion or knowledge of the full Kanban method is required; completion of Modules 2, 3 and 4 is recommended, but not required
